Agnes Pauline Mayes, 77 of the Stevens Rd. Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Thursday, December 24, 2009, at Maple Manor Health Care Center in Greenville, Kentucky.
She was born Monday, November 28, 1932 in Logan Co., Kentucky, the daughter of the late Nobel Conard Coursey and the late Mary Pogue Coursey.
She was the wife of Frankie Mayes of Lewisburg, who survives.
She was a homemaker and attended Pleasant Union General Baptist Church.
Surviving are son, Larry Mayes of Hendersonville, TN, daughter, Shirley Risinger of Wadesville, IN, brother, Alvin Ray Coursey of Evansville, IN; 4 grand children; 6 great grand children.
A Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Monday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with the Rev. Kris Freeman officiating. Interment will be in Wileys Chapel Cemetery, Lewisburg, KY.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, December 27, 2009, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, Kentucky.
