Barbara Ann Mead-Shults, 72 of the Stevens Rd. Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Friday, January 29, 2010, at Creekwood Place in Russellville, Kentucky.

She was born Tuesday, November 9, 1937 in New York, New York, the daughter of the late Ander Hromcho and the late Mary Kurcsics Hromcho. She was the wife of Lewis Shults who survives.

She was also preceded in death by husband Arthur Mead.

She was the owner and operator of a ceramic shop and a former nurse.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Surviving are sons, William John Lohse of Hanson, KY, James Christopher Lohse of Union, NJ and Patrick Joseph Lohse of Festerville, PA, daughter, Suzan Marie Hillicoss of Climax, NY, step-daughter, Pamela Miller of Auburn, IN, step-sons, William Eugene Mead of Lewisburg, KY and Michael Lynn Mead of Lewisburg, KY, brother, Joseph Hromcho and wife Gudrun of Albuquerque, NM, nephew, David Hromcho of Albuquerque, NM and niece, Christina Hromcho of Albuquerque, NM; 6 grand children; 9 great grand children and several step grand and great grand children.
